Jamiez Membership and Online Terms of Service

1. Introduction
Welcome to Jamiez! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jamiez's services, memberships, and website. By becoming a member or using our services, you agree to abide by these Terms.

2. Membership & Payment Terms

• Jamiez offers three membership tiers: Essentials, Executive, and Platinum. These tiers provide varying levels of service and benefits. Membership offerings may change in the future.

• Membership fees are non-refundable and billed annually. No prorated refunds will be issued unless a membership is terminated by Jamiez at its sole discretion.

• Members may pause their membership with 14 days’ notice for a period of up to one year. After one year, any remaining membership credit is forfeited, and the member will be removed from the membership.

3. Membership Tiers & Benefits

• Essentials Membership ($2500):

  • 4 hours of standard services per month ($35/hr for additional base hours)

  • Premium and advanced services available per price list or quotation

  • 5 storage bins at a neighborhood Jamiez storage unit

  • Free tool share

  • Next-visit delivery

  • Midsize SUV airport transportation (up to 4 passengers) at $35/hr (SJC | SFO | OAK)

• Executive Membership ($5000):

  • 10 hours of standard services per month ($25/hr for additional base hours)

  • Premium services included; advanced services available per quotation

  • 5 storage bins + 1 pallet at a neighborhood Jamiez storage unit

  • Free tool share

  • Next-day delivery

  • Large SUV airport transportation (up to 6 passengers) – 1 free round trip, then $25/hr (SJC | SFO | OAK)

• Platinum Membership ($10000/month):

  • 20 hours of standard services per month

  • Premium services included; advanced services available per quotation

  • $1,000 concierge credit

  • 10 storage bins + 2 pallets at a neighborhood Jamiez storage unit

  • Free tool share

  • Same-day delivery

  • Large SUV airport transportation (up to 8 passengers) – 4 free round trips, then $25/hr (SJC | SFO | OAK)

4. Scope of Services & Limitations

• Jamiez provides household operational support but does not engage in work that requires a professional license (e.g., plumbing, electrical work).

• Jamiez does not perform dangerous, heavy, or emergency work.

• While Jamiez offers optional insurance and warranties at an additional cost, no insurance, warranty, or guarantee is valid without a signed contract or statement of work.

• Jamiez disclaims all liability for any damages caused in connection with its services.

5. Background Checks & Home Access

• All Jamiez employees undergo background checks.

• Members may provide home access at their discretion. Access is only required for areas relevant to the requested service.

6. Custom Services & Pricing

• Members may request custom services, which will be priced based on market rates for required labor.

• Pricing for all services is displayed prior to checkout. Unforeseen complications or circumstances beyond Jamiez’s reasonable control may result in longer service times and/or higher charges.

7. Vendors & Contractors

• Jamiez may act as a referral service by listing vendors on its website but does not assume liability for their services.

• When Jamiez acts as a contracted project manager (subject to a client contract, Jamiez directly hires a vendor or contractor on clients' behalf and will assume limited liability and provide warranties or guarantees as set forth in a contract or statement of work.  

8. Legal & Dispute Resolution

• This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

• Members waive their right to participate in a class action lawsuit against Jamiez.

• Any disputes must first go to mediation. If unresolved, disputes will proceed to arbitration.

• The maximum liability of Jamiez for any dispute is limited to the amount of the member’s current annual membership fee.

• Maximum liability for stored bins, bags, or boxes is $100 per item. Maximum liability for stored pallets is $500 per pallet.  Jewelry, Antiques, or other valuables should not be stored with Jamiez.

9. Privacy & Data Usage

• Jamiez collects only the personal information necessary to provide services and does not sell user data.

• Personal data may be shared with contractors, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, or agents as needed to fulfill service requests or comply with applicable laws.

10. Amendments & Updates
Jamiez reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
